David and his team have built a sophisticated, boutique investment management business. They emphasize in-depth customization, the highest level of client service, and a disciplined wealth management approach. They strive to help clients pursue their life goals with greater ease and comfort.

David began his career in finance in 1999 with Merrill Lynch in Greensboro, North Carolina before graduating from Wake Forest University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. In 2017 he joined Raymond James where he and George formed 1808 Capital Partners as an independent practice affiliated with Raymond.

David holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC™) from the College for Financial Planning. He is a Registered Options Principal (ROP) and serves as co-branch manager, holding Series 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, and 66 licenses.

David is a native of Greensboro, where he still resides. He and his wife, Ashley, have two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, skiing, and traveling.
